Raw food or cooked foods it doesn’t matter because you can make them both unhealthy in my opinion. Just because something is raw doesn’t mean it’s healthy, and sorry but a raw food cheese cake in my opinion is much unhealthier then a plate of cooked whole plant foods without salt, oil, and sugar.

People don’t have a “cooked food” addiction they have a junk food addiction. Yes specific cooked foods can create an excitotoxin effects, and cause stimulation to want to eat more then your body actually needs, and this becomes out of balance and unhealthy, but the same thing goes for a raw food dish loaded with fat, salt and sugar alternatives like agava nectar.

Their is no doubt that the humans natural diet is a fruigivore diet, and that fruit is the best food to eat regarding the human anatomy. However we don’t live in a natural world anymore, and none of are food now days is really “natural” and some people just can’t get ripe fruit, let alone afford an all fruit diet in specific climates they live in.

For healing it’s important to heal on fruit and 100% raw if your in high stages of degeneration but if you’re not, I think it’s important to have a sense of balance and don’t become dogmatic and religious about raw food, and just make healthy choices.

Instead of saying “cooked food” is an addiction understand that this is a fallacy. Processed food is an addiction, and also overeating on fat is an addiction, because we are not lipid based species, so in my opinion it’s better to eat cooked carbon based foods then it is to make a diet staple based around raw fats just to stay “raw” this is your illusion that raw is healthy! No a fruit based raw food diet low in fat is healthy, but not a “raw food diet”

There are plenty of people that eat some cooked food, and they are not addicts, they eat whole plant foods, and they don’t end up falling of the rocker turning to a sad diet because they care about their health, and don’t have this mental disposition that all cooked food is “the devil” ? if you start eating processed cooked and “raw” foods then it can become an addiction, because any food unhealthy for you is addicting. However eating some potatoes with some cooked veggies is not an addiction in my opinion.

If you want to keep it all raw, and fruit based then awesome! Keep going, and this is the best diet for you, but don’t beat yourself up for eating a little cooked food because all the fruit you can get is cardboard, and cost stupid amounts of money.

It’s about alkaline food that’s whole and unprocessed for lifestyle, and fruit and herbs vital for healing, but please don’t beat yourself up for eating some cooked potatoes out of frustration, because you can’t get good tasting ripe fruit.

Just because someone has this mental thing going on in their head that all cooked food is evil doesn’t mean that your going to fall off the rocker, and order a pizza because you ate cooked food lol! People don’t think this way after they have a shit quality unhealthy raw pizza!??

Make healthy choices, and you won’t have this conditioned mental thinking that is only a trendy thing that natural hygienist raw foodist came up with saying that if you eat cooked food it’s only a downward spiral of “addiction”

I’ve been on a 30 day experiment eating some cooked food for dinner to see for myself, and so far after 15 days I’ve been able to maintain eating whole plant based meals without sugar, salt and oil, and I feel perfectly balanced, and don’t feel like eating junk food in the slightest way! Why is that? Because I’m about health, and anyone that falls of the wagon has a lot of mental issues they need to detox out of them, and it’s not the cooked food that’s the problem, but it’s them that is the problem.

Don’t get me wrong and twist my words please! I promote a fruit based diet, and I believe that a raw food diet is best, but I also believe that mental stability is even better, and if you can’t achieve that on a 100% raw food diet then you should have some cooked food in the mix, and understand that you can maintain eating none processed cooked foods, and mainly fruit based, and raw without going crazy with cooked junk foods taking over your diet.

I’m a mind over matter guy, and hate these cultural things we come up with in certain communities and groups. You know what priority is, and you know what you have to do intuitively. Stop worshiping and following others, because you think they are intelligent, make your own decisions and have common sense!

For healing keep it fruit based with herbs and 100% raw, but for general living for those that are not dealing with serious chronic conditions then don’t beat yourself up for eating cooked food, and I recommend you do have some cooked or steamed plant foods, if this raw food thing becomes a dogma and religion and makes you an arrogant raw foods evangelist that nobody has time for.

It’s all mental misconception that healthy cooked foods will take you down hill fast to eating junk food again, because even certain raw food dishes that are mimicking pizza, burgers, and tacos can tempt you to eat those foods cooked full of dairy and meat, and even more so then eating a bowl of mashed potatoes.

Their must be physical health, spiritual mental, and emotional heath to be healthy, and sometimes you can be on a “perfect diet” and still never be healthy, and struggle to heal when you have set your mind around a dogma of “raw is law” perfection, because it can be a lot of unnecessary anxiety and really damage your adrenals, and make your health worse, and shit a little cooked whole plant foods in the mix workout salt, sugar and oil may actually help you to heal faster because your mind is healthier which will also make a healthier body.

For those of you that don’t care about all this stuff and are content and thrive on a raw food diet 80-90% fruit based and don’t make the diet a religion, keep going and cooked is not a priority, and just embrace the now, and listen to your body, be intuitive and have common sense, and get in touch with yourself, instead of worshiping and following others, but for you crazy types with this “mental perfection” of raw is law, understand that your fatty raw food dish can actually be an unhealthy “addiction” and for those that have steamed veggies may actually be healthier then you on a mental, emotional, physical and spiritual level because they walk with balance, and don’t sell themselves to unhealthy dogmas and religious like modalities.
