Raw foods sweep and clean the colon when eaten and cooked foods stick and impact and clog up the colon. Not only are cooked foods more on the acid side of chemistry and most raw foods such as your fruits, veg, and greens are alkaline you want to neutralize the ph of acid by bringing in more alkaline foods when eating acidic foods such as your beans, grains, starchy potatoes, and animal tissue and fluids are not foods so they donβt count ?
The goal is to move to a living foods diet especially when trying to heal and clean the colon and lymphatic system. However, if you are still transitioning you want to eat greens with every starchy meal to encourage better elimination of that cooked meal and also to neutralize the acids by bringing more alkalinity to the body so you can avoid acids being dumped into your lymphatic system.
Salad greens like your tender greens, Romain lettuce and the like will help sweep out the sticky residues from the starchy foods if you eat the greens with the cooked meal. I myself have noticed this when having a bowel movement the next day vs just having a starchy cooked meal without the greens. Greens are a good broom and celery also works very effectively. You will also help the body with hydration because you will end burning up fewer electrolytes because thatβs what acid chemistry does leading to dehydration. You will still feel dehydrated if you are used to maintaining a raw vegan diet the majority of the time. I am talking about for those transiting to a fruit-based raw vegan diet. The goal is to bring in more alkaline foods when eating cooked acidic foods and also the raw foods eaten with the cooked will help with better digestion because cooked foods are void of essential enzymes that help break down the foods into a liquid for better absorption. Better digestion equals absorption and better elimination.
You always want to eat fruit first thing (breakfast) to provide the body hydration and energy and to help pull on the lymph system and fruits being high in enzymes and electromagnetic energy this will help move things through for elimination. The goal is to base your diet around fruit and at least a diet of 75% fruit-based and the rest tender greens and whole plant food sources and to work up to a 75% fruit-based 100% raw vegan diet and the rest being tender greens, low sugar fruits, and sprouts, being an option and if you can maintain a 100% fruit-based diet have fun, clean out your body and enjoy the energy and lightness you can experience and soon after deep cleaning you will experience a pain free body and you can experience higher levels of consciousness and spiritual awareness that can change your life forever.
For transitioning always eat greens with anything cooked and avoid all processed foods that should be the first thing you completely give up on this journey and if still eating cooked focus more on tubers rather then grains and beans and focus on sweet potatoes, pumpkin and the winter squash varieties for mucus lean foods and even better if still eating cooked focus on the starchless vegetables to avoid mucus accumulation in the body because mucus blocks the flow of energy for elimination and also creates lymphatic flow stagnation and stagnation of lymph is what leads to chronic dis-ease and dysfunction within the human body.
