Let’s say you have a history with an eating disorder but also have health problems and want to heal naturally through detoxification? My advance to you would be to transition with intelligence and not be too aggressive with methods regarding throwing your body into a detox when it comes to under eating, and fasting methods that promote cleansing.
If you have chronic parathyroid issues and chronic malabsorption you need to detox without question so the body can remove the acidosis causing these problems with the bones and small intestines and Endocrine glands but at the same time if you have mental problems and are already an extremist by nature my advance to you would be to know when to hold and know when to fold when it comes to cleansing and building and I would detox in cycles and learn to mentally heal so that you can have enough Intuition to know what’s best for your body. For example, If your weight is dropping drastically over years of detox and your losing bone density and muscle and you also are under-eating and eating fruit like a bird and barley getting any nutrition in your body then I would find your balance and detox in cycles.
Fruit, vegetables, nuts and seeds and a regular amount of food to maintain an adult human body should be the aim for your foundation when you have severe underweight issues and a history with eating disorders and detoxing at a slower pace I would advise you to do and crack open your kidneys with the herbs and 16 hour time restricted dry fasting instead of just eating a little fruit a day with an eating disorder. You need to find the mental balance in order to maintain a restricted diet of just eating mono fruit meals. I also would not put your focus on juice fasting as your main focus or anything too restrictive.
Your focus for a while should just be to avoid cooked foods that create mucus and acid accumulation in the body such as grains, tubers, beans, eggs, dairy, and meat. Which leaves you with fruits and vegetables. If you are not in terrible shape like on your death bed and you have a history with an eating disorder I would also recommend you eat cooked starchless vegetables in the evening so you can detox at a slower pace so you have enough balance to avoid triggering eating disorder behavior which often creates under-eating.
Transition is vital and finding your balance for mental health is vital.
Sometimes you need to take breaks from detox and allow your body to slow down the detox by adding in salads, avocados, and cooked starchless vegetables. Detox in cycles if your extremely underweight by maintaining a diet of fruit, salads, and cooked starchless veggies for one for a couple of weeks then a week on just fruit and back on fruits, salads, and cooked starchless veggies. Go in cycles and use the herbal botanicals during the process.
Detoxification is an art and done right with Intelligence that should not create an eating disorder. You need to know what to skinny is and too weak is and listen to your body because under-eating while dealing with severe underweight issues is never something I condone and this is why for certain cases it’s best to detox in cycles instead of going too deep to quickly and detoxing with an eating disorder can be a problem. The majority of you without eating disorders and severe underweight issues no when to build and when you need to allow the body to break down and we never want to blame detox for an eating disorder and this is why transition is vital and looking into the work of Professor Arnold Ehert when it comes to detoxification and Robert Morse ND.
