How to improve digestion on a fruit based diet

How to improve digestion on a fruit based diet

We live in a culture of eating complicated food recipes and food combining. Our pancreas is screaming for simplicity, and the liver and gallbladder as well when it becomes saturated and damaged with acid and mucus forming foods, as well as all the chemicals that end up in the food to “preserve” it.

The goal to improve digestion is to transition to a simple diet. The more simple and satisfying the meal is, the better it will be for overall digestion, and the lighter you will feel in return. If you’re not eating a mono fruit meal, then I think 4 ingredients is the goal to accomplish when preparing a salad, veggie fruit salad, raw soup, or a cooked plant based meal if you’re still eating some cooked food.

Less is more with digestion of course, and also when it comes to healing. In nature we don’t have master chef tools, and I know we are not in nature, but remember nature is still the guide to our common sense, and how we should eat, and live for optimal health in my opinion. An all fruit diet will always be the best diet for digestion, and fruit is the simplest food to digest for the human body, because humans are designed to eat fruit (Fruigivores).

Always have fruit for breakfast, you don’t want to brake your fast on heavy dense foods. Whatever you eat make it a habit to always brake your fast with fruit. Fruit will also help pull out digestive waste from day before much more effectively then any other food you can consume.

You want to for one base your diet around mono fruit meals at least 80% of what you consume, and if you do that, then your already creating optimal digestion, and your body will experience that overtime. In the beginning it’s the drain the swamp phase, so digestion may appear to be poor. But when the body becomes clean and you get used to eating basically water, sugar, and a little fiber from the fruit, you will experience digestion that’s so light, and the energy you get from mono fruit meals is on another frequency. It’s hard to stay on solid ground when your on a fruit high! ?

Digestion starts in the mouth first at least with carbon it is. Chew your food well, and activate digestion in your mouth first before it enters your stomach for the pancreas, and small intestines to do the rest. Don’t eat fast, take your time and enjoy every bite. Chugging a fruit smoothie is not going to create optimal digestion, and your pancreas doesn’t prefer that ether. Chew your smoothie, and eat it with a spoon if you prefer to blend your fruit. Eating the fruit whole is the best, but sometimes people need it predigested a little because they have such a sensitive pancreas and gut, or sensitive teeth, but that’s another article and topic.

The art of cooking, and the art of gourmet raw is a problem when it comes to creating optimal digestion. Again in nature we are eating simple mono fruit meals, and because our ancestors migrated out of the tropical jungles away from the fruit, they had to eat cooked lower vibrational foods like roots, grains, and hard to digest veggies. However when they ate those foods it was still 1-3 items of food at tops. Today when humans cook, it could be up to 30 ingredients in one meal! And even the raw food gourmet recipes have more ingredients then the pancreas, and GI tract can deal with.

Keep eating simple, and I understand wether you cook or eat your food raw, it’s the fruit that matters the most, so consume the bulk of your calories coming from fruit. When you do eat fruit try to eat it by itself, for example 5-10 mangoes, or 5-10 bananas, or a big watermelon.

If your in a cold climate, and your basing your diet around fruit, berries and melons, and your also still transitioning, and eating some cooked food, eat simple, and don’t combine fats with carbs, protein with starch, and of course keep it plant based void of all animal products. Example would be boiled or steamed sweet potato and 1-2 other foods like a starchless steamed veggie, and make a mash or soup, and keep the seasonings minimal to 1-3 spices without oil, salt and sugar added.

If your eating fruit all day, and a salad in the evening, I would suggest a veggie fruit salad (low sugar fruits) like tomato, cucumber, bell pepper and some cilantro, with some lemon and lime juice squeezed on it. For a salad focus on tender leaves, such as iceberg, or romain lettuce, cucumber, tomato, celery and some lemon and lime juice squeezed on it for added flavor, or you can blend that, and have a raw soup with 1-3 spices added.

This is how you eat simple to create the best, and most optimal digestion. Simple eating is best digestion. The more you want to complicate dishes, the more you create addictions for foods that don’t help the body heal, and function best. Better digestion equals better mood, more energy, better sleep, and better life.

Conscious eating is what you want to achieve if you care about the tent that you live in, because the physical body is only a housing place for the soul, but also we want to honor our house, and keep it clean if we want to avoid the bugs and pathogens that will have to come in to clean up the mess.

It’s best to eat around noon, and to stop eating right before the sun goes down. Think about nature again, no lights and electricity means you eat when the sun is up, and stop before the sun goes down and this is the times your digestion is best, and also how it’s designed to function anyways. Eating first thing in the morning is not optimal for digestion because you want to eliminate your waste from the night before, and to create the best digestion you want to brake your fast around 12-1pm because that will give your body enough time to fully digest the food consumed from the day before. If you get in this habit you will experience better digestion, and overall better mood and energy.

Avoid pain and suffering, and eat simple, and you will learn to enjoy the simplicity of food and their natural flavors. You can restructure your taste buds to enjoy simple eating, you just have to give it some time creating a new habit, and I promise you will enjoy the outcome with digestion, energy, sleep and mood!

The End

Get back to nature my friends, get back to a diet that your biological design to eat, tap into your intuitive Consciousness, let your instincts guide you, live in the present moment, and I promise you my friends you will thrive!
