Humans civilizations that live the longest eat plants not animals

If you really do your homework on what humans actually ate from the Paleolithic area to the are of farming and agriculture, every thriving civilization from the beginning of time got the bulk and majority of their calories from plant foods not animal based! We have things ass backward these days thinking that low carb diets are what’s best for nutrition and optimal health! This can be further from the truth.

If you absorb thriving civilizations and how long they lived it was defiantly not the Eskimo’s ? it was the Okinawan’s and the Adventist. The okinawians diet was 96% plant based and the people ate a small piece of meat once in a blue moon. The majority of this culture before McDonald’s was around diet consist of tubers mainly the purple sweet potato, and they lived to over a hundred. The Adventist lived even longer, and still to this day, and There diet is plant based devoid of all animal products, or it’s encouraged to be.

So what are you going to believe? Some government funded “study” or “nutritional expert” tell you that carbs are bad, and you need to eat mainly animals!? Again every culture throughout history that thrived were on almost entire plant based diets, or at least 80% coming from whole plant foods.

Paleo diet proponents spare no effort to ignore and distort science. The general public is at their mercy until they look for themselves at recent publications from the major scientific journals.

Research published in the journal Nature (on June 27, 2012) reports that almost the entire diet of our very early human ancestors, dating from 2 million years ago, consisted of leaves, fruits, wood, and bark—a diet similar to modern day chimpanzees.

According to research presented in a 2009 issue of Science, people living in what is now Mozambique, along the eastern coast of Africa, may have followed a diet based on the cereal grass sorghum as long as 105, 000 years ago.

Research presented in a 2011 issue of Proceedings of the National Academy of Science shows that even the Neanderthals ate a variety of plant foods; starch grains have been found on the teeth of their skeletons everywhere from the warm eastern Mediterranean to chilly northwestern Europe. It appears they even cooked, and otherwise prepared, plant foods to make them more digestible—44, 000 years ago.

A 2010 issue of the Proceedings of the National Academy of Science reported that starch grains from wild plants were identified on grinding tools at archeological sites dating back to the Paleolithic period in Italy, Russia, and the Czech Republic. These findings suggest that processing vegetables and starches, and possibly grinding them into flour, was a widespread practice in Europe as far back as 30, 000 years ago, or even earlier.

Falsehoods leading the general public to choose foods that threaten our very existence have been challenged for decades, but as I have said before, people like to hear good news about their bad habits; so the Paleo Diet continues to get a highly visible platform with too little public debate.

We do have on recored the facts of what early humans ate, and it wasn’t a hunter based diet. Humans are not attracted to dead animals, and nether do we want to eat them in the wild unpackaged and neatly prepared like at the supper markets. Eating dead animals was only for survival, and the only reason why a human in history before this society we live in today ate dead animals, was because they had to relocate and migrate and to eat for survival. Fruits, veggies, nuts, seeds and other plant food sources were more available then having to hunt for animals, and then prepare them in time to feed their family’s and hunger.

Absorbing the Okinawan’s health record and what they used to eat before fastfood restaurants were in the picture.

Studies have shown that:

  • Okinawa has more people over 100 years old than anywhere else in the world.
  • They also have the lowest death rates from cancer, heart disease and stroke.
  • They also have the highest life expectancy for both males and females over 65.
  • And females in Okinawa have the highest life expectancy in all age groups.

The people of Okinawa mostly focus on vegetables, but not just any vegetables! They eat green, orange, and yellow vegetables as much as possible. This can include the likes of kale, bell peppers, spinach, cucumber, and so much more, their staple calorie source was not white rice, it was the purple sweet potato. Imagine a civilization that actually just lived on fruit! They probably would live even longer in my opinion.

Another thing that the Okinawan’s put a focus on was not overeating, the whole calorie myth was not a focus, and they just ate when hungry and stopped when satisfied, and instead of the silly calorie recommendation in the West 2k for woman’s and 3k for men the Okinawan’s calories was in the 12-1800k range. The focus isn’t on portion control but on mindful eating. The people believe that you shouldn’t go hungry, and that you should consume food until you are 80% full.

If you look at the traditional diets of more than 2, 000 Okinawans, it breaks down as follows: Only 1% of their diet was fish, less than 1% of their diet was other meats, and less than 1% was dairy and eggs, so it was more than 96% plant-based and more than 90% whole food plant-based as they ate few processed foods. And their diet was not just whole food plant-based; most of their diet was made up of vegetables, one vegetable in particular: sweet potatoes. The Okinawan diet was centered on purple and orange sweet potatoes.

Observing the Adventist diet and life expectancy

The Adventist basically eat, and encourage a diet that’s described in genesis 1:29 which consist of fruits and vegetables and whole plant foods devoid of animal products. Not all Adventist are strict vegetarians and eat some animal products but the percentage of their diet is plant based.

The Adventist vegetarians in California have perhaps the highest life expectancy of any formally described population. Adventist vegetarian men and women live to be about 83 and 86, respectively, which is comparable to Okinawan women, but better than Okinawan men. The best of the best were Adventist vegetarians who also had healthy lifestyles, such as being exercising nonsmokers. They live to 87 and nearly 90, on average. That’s 10 to 14 years longer than the general population. They have 10 to 14 extra years on this Earth by making simple lifestyle choices.

Adventist men who do not eat meat outlive American men by seven years. Adventist women who do not eat meat outlive American women by five years. Many Adventists do not eat meat, but even those that do outlive their peers thanks to the amount of vegetables, fruits, and other healthy foods they eat.

This is just a small fraction of what we have recorded in history when it comes to humans diets predominantly based around whole plant foods, not animal foods, and a diet devoid of carbohydrates. Most cultures and societies in the world before the west created fast food chains are a diet of plant foods. They were poor countries that had no access to meat and could not afford animal based foods ether, and they did not have the chronic health issues that humans are dealing with in our culture today that’s rich in animal food and processed foods of all kinds. It was defiantly a diet lower in protein as well. Heat disease, diabetes and cancer hardly existed, and was very rare. I truly believe these problems exist today from animal foods, processed meats and processed foods of all kinds.

Just understand if your confused on nutrition to look at our history; and see for yourself it was not based around low carb diets, and diets high in animal protein. The keto/carnivore diet is a modern day creation, and it’s not something I would consider a diet that promotes health, and peace for that matter. Their is no biological indicator that man is a carnivore so we need to stop the Unnecessary suffering of innocent sentient animals, and discrimination of animals regarding which breed gets to live to be our pets, and which animals get to die to feed your belly, and pleasure taste preferences.

Even from the pages of the Bible in genesis the diet for humans was 100% plant based not animal based. Eat food that’s full of life, fruits are the best for you, and the other plant options secondary, understand that humans are a fruigivore not a carnivore. Humans are 99% Identical to the bonobo monkey and their diet consist of 98% fruit. Are digestive tract looks nothing like a carnivorous digestive tract like a lion, so use your common sense, and that alone will tell you what to eat, and what not to eat!

The End

Get back to nature my friends, get back to a diet that your biological design to eat, tap into your intuitive Consciousness, let your instincts guide you, live in the present moment, and I promise you my friends you will thrive!
