It can take time to overcome the addictive mindset. When you have created a habit with the drug for many years, you can easily create a habit with food addiction.
I would recommend you find your balance and know your inner self. Fasting can actually help you overcome drug addiction if you transition into fasting maturely. I’ve always said that I don’t think anyone should do long extended fast whether that’s on water, dry or even juice feasting until they have successfully transitioned the all fruit diet level for at least a year or maybe 2 years for certain people.
It’s a catch 22 because a long term fast can seem to be the answer to overcome food addiction, but the problem is when you limit your diet to just juice, or you decide to do a water fast or a week-long dry fast, and you have an extreme all or nothing mindset (passionate types) you can set yourself up for a disaster.
You know that when you would drug and alcohol binge that it was hard to just have a drink or a line, or shot or whatever right? Once you get a taste and feel the euphoria you want to keep that feeling alive. This is self-destructive behavior, it’s being trapped in your lower self and trying to escape your reality. You can find amazing joy and completeness in this dualistic reality, and as you know from your past drug addictions that it’s not the answer, and that’s why you know longer salve yourself to that illusion of “escaping”.
However, if you have a drug and alcohol addiction past you also come from a food addiction past most likely. The thing is most foods humans eat are drugs anyways. You want to be careful when you get to these levels of becoming alive and elevated to higher consciousness on a living foods fruit based diet. The reason you want to be careful is that the negative forces will be nipping at your heals and will try to pull you back to your addictive past. Maybe not with drugs and alcohol but possible with sedative cooked foods, and all the wrong cooked foods.
Ok so you have been on the raw foods, your exploring the world of fasting and juice feasting and you feel great, and you feel like your on top of the world. If you don’t keep your mind in a state of balance and come to terms with your emotional body with what you can handle, and what your mature to handle, then you can end up creating addictions with food that may shock you, because of the level of discipline you were able to achieve with the raw food diet and fasting.
You need to be careful if you have an addictive personality and also tend to overeat even if it’s all raw or all fruit. If you have these traits then I would recommend overcoming overeating first before you even think about fasting. If you overeat, and feel guilty for doing it and then do a water fast or dry fast, and it becomes a yo-yo thing creating a mental imbalance, you must understand that you may be created an eating disorder and can spiral out of control with fasting and cooked food binge eating.
If you do a long term fast and you break the fast improperly this can excite any microbes you should not have in your body, and create massive cravings for dense foods you should avoid coming off an extended fast. Or if your coming off a long term fast and usually a long term fast would mean juice or water, and your right in the midst of an emotional healing event, and the negative forces are using people, or a circumstance to steer up the pot, and you’re not careful to keep yourself in a state of balance to recognize it, you can find your self making impulsive decisions.
Once you get a taste of these excitotoxins in the cooked foods, and you experience the nirvana and stimulation it can create a long term binder, and be very hard to get back to the place of eating optimal foods that honors your body and soul regarding the living foods.
This is why I personally don’t do long term juice, water or dry fast coming from a background of heavy drug and alcohol addiction because I don’t want to find myself feeling so good and clean and then for whatever reason saying why not a cheat day. “I’ll just get back on track tomorrow” I’ve learned that this is not most likely the reality for those of you like me that have a past of self-destructive addiction.
If you cheat after a long term fast and you have addictive self-destructive traits and also have a history of overeating on clean raw foods, it can take several months to get back to an optimal diet if you end up cheating on cooked foods coming off a long term fast. I’m just speaking on what I have seen in clients and the community we openly share in. You just need to come in the state of balance again and just eat the raw foods consistently for long time without any reservation, overcome the overeating problem, and make it a lifestyle of short term fast to detox your spiritual body and to keep the pipes clear in a world of chemical saturation just from breathing in the air. Be consistent with the diet for several years and mature in nature’s wisdom, and then you could possibly handle a long term fast without finding yourself in those self-destructive cooked food binders.
I only do a 2-5 day fast on water, juice or dry. I don’t do longer than that because I don’t want to find myself cheating after a long term fast, and then exciting the microbes because these parasites are addicts, and they are also demons lol.
I’ve done about 10 15 day juice feast in the past, and been able to maintain an optimal diet, but I also did those SFV because I was suffering from health problems. I’m not suffering anymore so keeping discipline is much more challenging, and that’s why I know for myself I’m not ready for long term water fast, juice or dry fast because I tend to still overeat with gourmet raw vegan food from time to time.
Just be careful and don’t do the self-sabotage yo-yo fruit and long term fasting, and then find yourself putting your hands in the cookie jar, because it only can take one bite, and you can end spiraling out of control especially if you come from a past of self-destructive drug and alcohol addiction, and eating disorders.
Get back to nature my friends, get back to a diet that your biological design to eat, tap into your intuitive Consciousness, let your instincts guide you, live in the present moment, and I promise you my friends you will thrive!
