If you blend, soak and sprout a nut it’s much easier to digest but haven’t you noticed that when you eat a nut whole it’s often found in your bowel movements undigested? Have you ever seen this happen while doing an enema? Do you feel gallbladder and pancreatic pain after nuts and overall digestive distress after eating them?
These are all good questions to observe to take the complex mind back to simplicity instead of nutrition constipation thinking and trying to get your “essential” fats. I like nuts don’t get me wrong they taste good, make a good vegan cheese sauce or salad dressing but the fact that remains is that nuts are not suitable in my opinion for the human’s digestive tract.
Nuts are high in fat, high in protein, low in carbohydrates and contain phytic acids, anti nutrients and enzyme inhibitors. You don’t want to inhibit enzymes because this is what causes digestive issues as well as overworks the pancreas to make more to try to break down the chemistry which often is a failure when you see them undigested on your ?
Nuts are not ideal on a raw food diet if you are trying to encourage cleansing and detoxification because again they don’t digest properly which takes energy away from healing trying to process this dense food. The proteins are hard on the kidneys and hard on the bowels. The bowels want soft foods not hard foods anyways to protect the walls of the colon. You never want to overstress the bowels and the kidneys because those are eliminative organs to remove toxicity out of the body.
Don’t ask me what nut is better than the other because they don’t digest well and they certainly don’t promote regenerative detoxification. For lifestyle or a cheat, I would go for soaked nuts blended that are more low in protein and higher in fats and try to get rid of the phatic acids with soaking and draining.
Focus on simple sugars on raw living foods for energy and hydration because nuts dehydrate and absorb water in the body and too much fat can slow down detoxification drastically regarding lymph flow and you want to keep the proteins low for optimal health as well.
If you think nuts are healthy simply just eat fruits and low-fat salads for 2 weeks and have yourself a bowl of nuts and then you will know how they digest and if they trip up your symptoms and if you have any kind of pain conditions you will most likely feel it too haha after a bowel or nuts.
I eat nuts in dishes here and there but I’m not going to say they are a health food because I eat them or tell you that they are an ideal food for the human body because I don’t believe they are and they are if not the hardest edible food to digest or they are certainly the hardest plant food to digest and I even hesitate to even put anything other then a plant on the food category!
