Sea veggies are high in iodine and other essential minerals however they are like sponges in soaking up heavy metals, especially arsenic from polluted waters.
Unfortunately many oceans have become a dumping ground for a lot of toxic substances.
Sea vegetables absorb heavy metals (cadmium, and lead)

Several reports conclude that 1/4 to 1/2 cup of dry hijiki could provide> 1000 micrograms of inorganic arsenic.
Kelp
A report of arsenic toxicity from kelp supplements led to an evaluation of 9 sample tested, 8 showed levels higher then acceptable (U.S. FDA)
Among all of the heavy metals, arsenic appears to be most problematic when it comes to sea vegetable toxicity risk. Virtually all types of sea vegetables have been determined to contain traces of arsenic. These types include arame, hijiki, kombu, nori, and wakame. Among all types of sea vegetable, however, hijiki stands out as being particularly high-risk when it comes to arsenic exposure.
Even though that sea vegetables are extremely high in vitamins and trace minerals, if you get back to your physiological design you’re not designed for the sea veggies anyways as a frugivore species. Because we have damage our planet, and damage our health, we can benefit from other foods outside of fruits, however our body will always respond best to a simple fruit-based diet.
See veggies are designed for sea creatures. If sea veggies were designed for humans it would make sense that we would be able to dive to the bottom of the sea, and eat the sea veggies comfortably without having to come up for air like the sea animals LOL!
I think we get intellectually constipated on the whole mineral and nutrition concepts rather than understanding just are simple diet when it comes to our species design.
when you clean out your body, the need for the many vitamins and minerals we think it needs can function very optimally on small amounts because it’s really not about the amount of nutrition and minerals, rather about fixing the body when it comes to absorption and utilization of vitamins and minerals. in my opinion when you clean out your body and detoxify it on a systemic level, you will get the perfect amount of minerals and vitamins from the fruits and herbs alone.
We don’t need to resort to sea veggies for optimal health, if they have been contaminated especially from Fukushima. In my opinion I think avoiding them is best when It comes to weighing out the risk, because nobody wants heavy metals in their body especially when bacteria, Sulfur and other unwanted residues will get stuck in tissues and the body will hold onto them harder because metals attach to them causing more bodily dysfunction.
The one thing I would caution against right now is sourcing sea vegetables from Japan and it’s surrounding areas. Since the nuclear disaster at Fukushima in 2011, there have been numerous reports of high levels of radiation still leaking into the ocean.
When it comes to detoxification purposes, it’s really not important to be saturating your body with veggies anyways because veggies do not move the lymphatic system, the herbs and the fruits do. Yes the sea veggies may be beneficial to the thyroid because of the natural iodine, but it also may have radioactive iodine in them especially if sourced from Japan because of Fukushima and the radiation exposure, and this will be detrimental to the thyroid gland specially if you thyroid is low functioning.
A lot of people like to use the dulse and kelp As a salt replacement for a salad and I completely understand this reasoning, because I’ve tried the same thing allowing myself to add an additional salt to my food which is a bad idea because it’s addictive, stimulating, and can manipulate your natural taste buds do enjoy the natural sodium from the food. In all reality were mainly sugar seeking species, and when you adopt a simple mono fruit diet, after a while you will become content, and very satisfied on sugar rich foods, and the savory dishes will be less desired over time, and really we don’t have an essential need for greens or savory dishes because we’re not herbivores by design.
I think if your trying to detoxify your body it would be best to avoid sea veggies because we have completely damaged are marine life, and you never know the levels of contamination that are found in these products you buy in the store.
Yes even the soil has been compromised and the store bought fruits and vegetables are contaminated at some level, but at least you can grow your own food or move to a tropical climate with quality soil, and find yourself content on a fruit diet alone. If anything the fruits are less contaminated because they grow above the ground. In my opinion the fruits are on top of the mountain because anything that grows above the ground is going to have the most electricity, and exposure to the sun, and when you eat the sun you become light yourself.
Instead of finding yourself bummed out, because you don’t want to compromise your body with contaminants found in see veggies, learn to become content on a fruit diet, because the fruits are going to be the most desired and satisfying, and also the most compatible with our physiological design.
If your worried about essential minerals, study the herbs because the herbs are unfortunately overlooked when it comes to the mineral value, and the nutrition value they contain, and I believe you can get everything from the herbs that may be lacking in the conventional fruits, and the beautiful thing is there not hybrid, or manipulated grown wild in their natural form on cleaner soil’s. Herbs like alfalfa, nettle, dandelion, horse tail, and oatstraw might be the most nutrient and mineral dense plants we have on this planet apart from the sea veggies, and will be a better replacement in that regards so you don’t have to worry about nutrition, or lack of minerals. I on the other hand don’t believe we need a crazy amount of minerals and nutrition anyways when we clean out our bodies affectively and get rid of the culturing medium causing degeneration, and that’s the sewage backup in the body, when you drain the septic tank, and you hydrate the body then little amounts of nutrition and minerals will create optimal health more than you think imaginable.
Focus on cleaning out your bodies on simplicity, and if your desiring salt it’s because you have weak adrenal glands, and the more you pop up the adrenal function, and you abstain from the addictive properties of salt, you will desire salty food less and less, and have more of a desire for the sugars found in the fruits.
Sea veggies I think should be avoided so that you don’t saturate your body with contaminants, and this is the last thing you want to do when your trying to clean out your body through regenerative detoxification.
Get back to nature my friends, get back to a diet that your biological design to eat, tap into your intuitive Consciousness, let your instincts guide you, live in the present moment, and I promise you my friends you will thrive!
