For those of you that have been dealing with chronic degenerative inflammatory conditions, as well as struggling with chronic fatigue and other poor health conditions that have experienced a drastic decrease with the quality of their life, I understand the urgency you want to provoke to heal yourself as quickly as possible. But you must understand that you can’t rush the healing process, and when your body is filled with acid, mucus, puss, and drug deposits, you don’t want to stir these obstructions up too quickly, and not eliminate them quick enough. This can be dangerous, and for those that are uninformed, could put themselves in the hospital, not understanding how the process works. For those of you that are type a personalities, and do things very aggressively, and have addictive personalities need to be careful, and find a balance while you choose to clean, restore and regenerate your body through detoxification.
If your body is already filled of toxicity and you have systemic acidosis, you most likely also have very weak kidneys, adrenal glands, and very weak bowels due to the damage that was caused from the high protein diets, or high starch and high-fat diets. If these eliminative channels are not working properly, and you stir up enough metabolic waste, these acids can Target other areas of the body, and create more unpleasant symptoms. We can’t just think that we’re going to go on all fruit diets, and not understand what it takes to heal, and restore, and create function in regards to the kidneys, and the bowels.
You can become very frustrated not getting better, because you’re not filtering these metabolic waste through the kidneys, and not having enough bowel movements, to rid the body of these toxins that are being broken up from the fat tissue, & these toxins are stored up in the bones as well. You may find yourself with more pain and fatigue, because you’re not able to eliminate them due to your weakend glands and organs.
My suggestion and advice for somebody coming off a standard American diet, as well as being on lots of prescription drugs, or drug abuse in general would be to slowly ease their way into a mucusless, and raw food diet. You don’t want to just jump into all fruit, because then you just create more confusion about an all fruit diet, thinking that the fruits are causing more issues, but not understanding the weakness in your body, not eliminating these waste, and also not understanding the power of the fruit when it comes to ASTRANGING, and pulling these metabolic wastes that are sticking to your body.
I hear it so often from people that don’t understand how to properly detoxify their body, and don’t learn about transitioning before they come off a standard American diet, jump right into an all fruit based diet, negatively bash and slander the fruit, because they created a serious problem, not understanding how toxic their bodies are and how powerful the fruits are in detoxification. But then there are those who transition properly, they don’t experience these blowbacks like those that don’t. When the body is extremely dehydrated, and extremely inflamed from acidosis, you’re not going to have a pleasant time, when the power of the fruits start to remove very aggressively these acids that have been stored up in the body, creating this inflammatory response that you may have systemically such as “fibromyalgia”. Get ready for the ride, because there is no treatment base modality you can find to cover up the reality of detoxification that will take place. You either educate yourself, and understand the process of detoxification, before you aggressively jump right into it.
It’s like you’ve been told that slow and steady wins the race, and I believe this to be very true. We must always create a balance, and not try to be some kind of detoxification hero, going from a standard American diet, right into a grape fast, along with water fasting, and dry fasting, or mono fruit fasting.
The first step before jumping right into aggressive detoxification, would be to eliminate all animal foods, grains, starches and beans first. Always have fruit for breakfast. Balance yourself with a green juice a day, and have steam mucusless vegetables at night. This alone will create enough detoxification for you, and bring you a balance with transitioning over to a 100% living Foods diet. A low fat, mucus free, 70% to 80% raw, plant-based diet I would recommend for at least two months, before going fully raw, unless you have a serious health condition, and your life expectancy is running short.
For those that are still on very toxic chemical prescription medications, should not start a grape fast and 100% Raw fruit-based, until they wean themselves off the prescription drugs. You can create a lot of problems, if your kidneys are not filtering, and you create a lot of unpleasant reactions in the body, as these drugs are starting to recirculate themselves through the bloodstream.
First what I would suggest you do is to get herbs for your kidneys, adrenal glands, and stomach and bowels, and try to encourage kidney filtration on 80% raw diet first. Once you get your kidneys filtering consistently every day for at least 2 to 3 weeks, then go 100% raw, and you will have a much more pleasant time detoxifying, and you won’t experience the pain and bloating that you will most likely get from the fruit, because you have a very toxic and acidic GI tract.
For most people, that are not on their way out the door dying, I would also suggest, while transitioning to 100% fruit based diet, two incorporate green juices, for the first month before jumping into just fruits and herbal Botanicals. Your body will let you know when you start plateauing with detoxification, and when this happens just get rid of the green juice, and experience the power of the fruit alone. At this time properly transitioning over to a very aggressive detox program, which is going to be your fruits and herbs, you probably have cleaned out enough debris, to handle the process, as well as restoring the kidneys and bowels with the herbs, to be able to experience the benefits, and the comfortable digestion you will experience from just fruits alone.
Healing crises are generally events of deep but aggressive eliminations and purging. They can occur from detoxifying too aggressively, exceeding the body’s capacity to cope through its eliminatory channels, or from the body itself having conjured up enough energy to purge itself where the only thing needed is an alkaline “trigger” to set it off (e.g. influx of alkaline chemistry from food or the alkaline nature of cold air, etc.).
Dependent upon the level of toxemia within the body, just about anything can happen during a healing crisis ranging from the common, mild symptoms to rare but strong symptoms. They can last anywhere from a few hours or less to several days, but as a general rule, should not last much longer than 14 weeks (if they do, the case should be evaluated to see what’s going on).
A healing crisis can often be successfully stopped by introducing food items into the body that drain more energy to process (cooked vegetables are good examples) thus diverting energy away from expelling matter.
These events can also be sped up by digging deeper (say, going from a high fruit diet to a “grape fast” or mono-diet). Unfortunately, some people can also unknowingly end up plateauing their healing crisis by not digging deep enough, and this makes the situation last much longer than it should (hence why an evaluation should be made in cooperation with a trained practitioner). - Robert Morse N.D
