The cacao bean is not a healthy food on a raw food diet


Just because a plant is edible doesn’t mean it’s intended to be consumed for health benefits just because it’s a plant. Cacao is defiantly a game changing food when we think about the pleasures of chocolate, however chocolate does not contribute to health in my opinion just because raw chocolate contains antioxidants.

It’s important to understand just because there may be a known nutrients in a food doesn’t mean it should be eaten if it also has toxic byproducts in it as well. Cacao has become marketed as a “raw food” in the raw food health world because this bean contains antioxidants, however what people overlook is that the cacao bean also contains stimulated compounds that are harsh on the nervous system, and can create adrenal gland problems, and often people complain about anxiety, and have no idea it’s the cacao powder they put in there banana smoothie that’s giving them these reactions.

If you have to add stimulants and caffeine to your fruit smoothie to get energy then It’s obvious something is wrong with your health, and it’s also a clear indicator that you have crashed your adrenal glands, and they are not giving you enough natural Neurotransmitters to give you sustainable energy you need to function throughout the day.

The problem with any bean wether that’s the cacao bean, coffee bean or even Yerba matte, is that these plants contain a toxic compound in them called caffeine. I’m not one to say that small amounts of caffeine in green tea if consumed in moderation is a problem, however the problem is the amount of caffeine a person consumes that causes dependency and addiction that’s a problem.

When you cause your adrenal glands to become dependent on caffeine and cause them to produce large amounts of Neurotransmitters then your gambling with your health, because once you crash your adrenal glands, and they loose their function, then it will be a long road to getting them to turn back on, and you will become even more tempted to depend on caffeine just to get through the day.

If you consume cacao and are starting to feel irritable and on edge then you’re not doing your adrenal glands a favor, and your stating to damage them. When the adrenal glands loose their function you can run into several health problems, such as low sex drive, blood sugar problems, low blood pressure, and loose the ability to utilize certain essential minerals such as zinc, and selenium.

It’s best to stay clear from plants that contain caffeine for this very reason, and to relay on the fruit to get your energy. If you clear out the obstructions that block the flow of energy in the body, then you will get all the energy from the fruit, and hydration in the living foods without running into adrenal fatigue, irritability and anxiety that comes from stimulants waring out the adrenal glands. The problem is with people not getting energy from the highest energetic food (fruit) is because they burnt out there adrenal glands, and they are having trouble metabolizing sugar because that’s the role of the adrenal glands. If you don’t metabolize sugar wether that’s a simple or complex sugar then you ferment them, and this can cause fatigue. Fruit sugar metabolizes and digest very quickly, and is mainly water, so with weak adrenals it’s like injecting sugar in your veins and then not utilizing it.

When you fix your damaged adrenal glands by winging yourself of the cacao and coffee it will take time to reboot your adrenal glands, and you will have to be patient when you consume sugar, because you may not metabolize it, and find yourself with a sugar crash. Fruits and vegetables are energetic foods, however they are not stimulants. They don’t shoot you up and then bring you down.

After you clean out the body and regain your energy naturally, you will be able to get through the day with long lasting stable energy levels with fruits and vegetables in their raw and natural state, and stimulants of any kind like cacao will make you feel of balance and anxious. You don’t want to depend on stimulants it’s only a temporary “solution” but creates a long term problem down the road.

If your trying to detox and regenerate your body stay clear of cacao nibs, powder and chocolate because it will do you know favors, because when you crash your adrenal glands you loose the ability to detoxify your lymphatic system, because they sit on the kidneys and control their function. The kidneys are the main eliminative organ to filter out metabolic waste from the lymph system, so why shut down the adrenal glands with stimulants, when they control the very channel to eliminate the waste your bathing in causing all your health problems in the first place?

If you want to detoxify on a cellular level and really clean out your body well, understand how the body functions as a system, and when you compromise with addictive plants full of caffeine, your body will become dependent, and in return become depleted of energy over time, and this creates out of balance bodily function.
