Even raw tomatoes due to being picked unripe are on the more acidic side. tomatoes should always be picked ripe on the vine. A lot of the time tomatoes get “picked on” because they are nightshades as being pro-inflammatory but I believe it’s the acidic ratio being high that makes them inflammatory. Inflammation is due to stagnant acidic flaring up tissue. You must acknowledge this in simplicity. Tomatoes may be a modern day man made creation fruit, and I love them but you don’t want to eat tomatoes that are acidic and most of them are sold in the grocery store. If you grow tomatoes you want to produce tomatoes that have a slight sweet flavor but so often the tomatoes you eat have an acid taste or flavorless taste.
Cooked tomatoes are so acidic they can strip aluminum off frying pans! If cooked tomatoes can do this you don’t want to put them in your body with that acid ph because your going to burn your tissue and irritate your nervous system. Conventional cooked tomatoes sprayed with pesticides may be the most acidic plant food you can consume and so often humans eat cooked tomatoes. Everyone loves pasta, pizza, and Italian cuisines right? This is a huge reason people are dealing with inflammation when they eat this highly acidic fruit. Just because it’s a fruit doesn’t make it healthy because if man made it and the fruit has been highly hybridized or genetically modified then it may be out of balance regarding what nature intended with its acid and base ratio. Fruits and vegetables should have like an 80/20 ratio and alkaline being at the top.
Raw tomatoes are on the more acidic side and cooked tomatoes is like battery acid. If you want to get out of inflammation then you want to avoid acidic foods. The body is designed to be alkaline. The issue is with humanity today is that most foods humans are eating are acid dominate and the lymphatic system is getting highly congested, the eliminative organs are getting damaged and metabolic waste is not leaving the body. The trash keeps piling up and the trash is never taken outside to be dumped.
If we want to look at the reality of foods that humans are designed to eat then you will find out that it’s a simple diet comprised of tropical fruits. When the earth was a tropical jungle humans were eating a diet of fruits and tropical fruits. Fruits and tender leafs are the natural diet for humans and even the tender leafs should be eaten in moderation in my opinion because the human digestive system was designed for ripe fruit primarily.
Tomatoes may just be a man made toxic berry because they are acidic and even more acidic because they are grown and picked early on acid soils. Go on a diet of sweet water rich fruit for 30 days and then have a big bowel of tomatoes. Anyone that has a history of joint issues and inflammatory issues most likely will feel a blowback and pain in weak tissue will say hi and express itself again.
I don’t like saying this about tomatoes because I love them but I also don’t live in denial and the truth is tomatoes most of the time are very acidic and always acidic cooked no matter what dish taste good with them in it. For those of you with sensitive teeth and connective tissue weakness in the gums when you eat tomatoes raw or cooked real with irritation in the teeth and gums because it’s simple tomatoes are highly acidic and should be avoided for detox and overall health. You want to avoid inflammation, and avoid eating foods that are pro inflammatory!
If you can get quality organic tomatoes that don’t taste acidic and your body doesn’t have a negative reaction to eating them have at it, but pay attention to the reality that tomatoes sold in most stores today are acid dominate not alkaline and cooked tomatoes weather they are organic and heirloom or not are highly acidic and should always be avoided for overall health.
